Maceo Greenberg
Maceo Greenberg is an award-winning writer, director and producer based in Los Angeles. From film financing to distribution, he has an end-to-end knowledge of independent filmmaking and how to successfully navigate within the indie marketplace.
He has produced content for clients including Disney, Marvel, Comedy Central, Facebook, HGTV, Samsung, the State of California, and the Special Olympics. His debut feature, Take Me to Tarzana, now streaming on all major digital platforms, won the Gold Remi Award for Best Comedy at the 53rd WorldFest-Houston. He also co-created the VR horror film The Game, chosen by YouTube as a top VR experience and featured in “Best of VR” showcases. Most recently, his horror/adventure feature Willow Dale was selected for the 2025 Stowe Story Labs and was a finalist in the 2022 Sundance Film Producers Lab.
A graduate of Cal State Long Beach’s creative writing and film programs, Maceo co-leads Story Well Productions with Laura Picklesimer, developing original film and television projects across genres.
